Job Description
We are looking for an entry level/fresher candidate who would like to pursue a career as a QA professional for both Manual and Automation testing. This individual would work with and learn from other QA team members on various web-based projects. This candidate should be passionate towards learning different technologies and a have test-to-break attitude. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals to not only start, but also thrive in a career in software quality assurance.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design test cases.
- Conduct functional, regression and performance testing.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Analyze and report test results, including defects and issues.
- Implement and maintain data-driven testing methodologies.
- Work on improving Test Automation Frameworks.
- Collaborate with Senior testers to learn and apply data structure and algorithms in testing scenarios to develop frameworks related functions and reusable libraries.
- Write and execute SQL commends.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices in software testing and automation.
Requirements :
- B.E/B. Tech bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or MCA degree.
- Must be Trained or having certification in QA and Test methodologies. ISTQB Certification or any relevant internship or coursework related to software Testing is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of java programming fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of software testing concepts.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work second or night shift.
