Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in Java or JavaScript.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in product and UX.
  • Knowledge of web development techniques and practices.

We build innovative and compelling software products—from apps to TVs, from laptops to phones—that have an impact on people’s lives across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Create a flexible and scalable client infrastructure.
  • Contribute as a full-stack engineer to build client infrastructure for Google One web touchpoints.
  • Re-design Google One client stack (e.g., Orchestration layer) components to be composable, scalable (i.e., low latency) and easy to maintain.
  • Discover, sign-up and upgrade experiences embedded in first-party web touchpoints.
  • Build PoCs and change new Google front-end stack technologies towards creating a scalable Google One client infrastructure.
